My wife and I visited Scalini Fedeli and enjoyed it. I began with a Risotto & Mushroom dish, which was excellent. For my entree, I had scallops, which were delicious in a tasty sauce. My wife started with a scallop & roast pepper tapanade and had an entree of Branzino. She asked that they change the sauce from an olive sauce to a white wine sauce. The chef was flexible and changed it for her. For dessert, we had a fantastic banana caramelized tart. The only negative was that my mango margarita was awful (not sure what happened there), but my wife's vodka giblet was excellent. I really enjoyed this meal.

This is one of the best restaurants in NJ hands down. Everything is always perfect and perfectly prepared. I think if I had to order a last meal, the soft yolk ravioli in brown butter would absolutely bee part of it. Even the little touches like the pineapple sorbet intermezzo are masterfully done. Don't be afraid to try things and ask your server, they know what they are talking about.

Wow! This place is fantastic! I tried the veal Scalapine it was tender and flavorful. They had a dessert a banana tart. Banana is not my favorite fruit, but I would eat one of these any day of the week. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

Scaling Fedeli is our favorite special-occasion restaurant. It’s built inside an old house, and the cozy feeling brings a warmth to the meal. Valet parking is offered, as is a coat check. The menu is always price fixed, with a $59 price tag including bread service, an amuse bouche, appetizer choice, entree choice, small bites, intermezzo, and dessert choice. It’s BYOB for wine (with a corkage fee on certain nights) but you can order cocktails. Service is impeccable. There is constant switching of dirty for clean silverware, water refills, and table cleaning. There is an extensive list of options, but some of our favorites include: Appetizers: egg yolk ravioli, linguini carbonara, truffle mushroom ravioliMains: chicken, pignoli crusted salmonDesserts: banana foster tart, chocolate soufflé All dishes are expertly prepared and even with multiple courses, the portion sizes are quite large. Be sure to pace yourself, because the dessert is not something to be missed!

This is the pinnacle of true Italian cuisine. The staff is always friendly, while the food and drinks are incredible. Every dish is delicious, though expensive, but it is truly worth every penny.

Older flair vibe but with great food and attentive wait staff. Had the salmon from the seasonal menu and it was to die for. Four starts because they really favor red wine because I am a chablis kind of guy.Overall good food, good vibe, owner is amazing. Must visit!!

Had a wonderful time with old friends and great food. I have wanted to try the restaurant for years, but never made it there. The food was delicious and the service was great. We were a large party so I had the opportunity to try a number of dishes and each one was better than the next. I am going to make sure that I return often and would suggest you do the same.

Very busy on a Saturday evening giving it a really nice atmosphere. Absolutely great food and a true gem.Decor is traditional rather than contemporary and the staff shine with their experience.A little pricey once alcohol is included but we will be back.

I have only been here a couple times, each time I am always blown away at how good it is. The environment is very elegant. Worth it for special occasions.

Excellent food and service

A destination restaurant. Five course price fixed meal. Food and service were impeccable. We've been here many times and always leave impressed.

Good food nice atmosphere!

Let's start with what's good, the food. Pasta dishes including the soft yolks ravioli was good to very good. Server was angry when we asked for graded cheese. Mushroom napoleon was good but not heated through. Main courses were also good. The problem was the service. Waiter messed up wine order and I ended up with 2 of the same wines when I wanted a less expensive wine with the appetizers. Dishes were not taken away in a timely manner. When spending $85 for a bottle wine it would have been nice to have it poured. Not a big deal but it would have been nice. Service was not friendly or as efficient as it should be in an upscale restaurant. It's a shame what should have been a very nice restaurant experience turned out very mediocre.

Upscale dining and the food is spectacular. They have a wine list plus you can bring your own for a corking fee.

Consistently great food and service and a superb Italian wine list.
